Banca Generali: this is how private banking innovates

A space entirely dedicated to innovation, to offer the world of private banking new technological solutions both to enrich the work platform of private bankers and to study new products to offer to customers. It is with this objective in mind that Banca Generali has opened in Milan, right in the centre, next to the historic building of the Generali Group in Corso Italia, the “BG Training & Innovation Hub”: “A space with an open approach – explained the CEO of Banca Generali Gian Maria Mossa -, open to the exchange of ideas, because opening up to innovation means opening up to the market”.

The Hub will become a digital social working area where you can work as a team and discuss issues related to fintech and investments: the new "home" for the approximately 200 private bankers of Banca del Leone in Trieste. A space where over 250 initiatives will be organized a year, over 30 training courses (for almost 2.000 hours) and where overall - according to Banca Generali - more than 150.000 people will meet, including private bankers, startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, customers and anyone who may have a contribution to make.

Conceived as a laboratory for testing new proposals in the private banking sphere, the Hub will also be the cradle in which to conceive new tools linked to the contribution of investments towards the real economy in the distinctive BG4Real project which will kick off from the beginning of the second quarter . In fact, the challenge is both to improve the technological level of the proposal, "as we have already done by launching BG Saxo, in collaboration with Saxo", explains Mossa, and to use innovation to launch new products, always in partnership with other asset management companies.

“The evolution of fintech – commented Mossa – and the dynamics of the zero-interest markets are accelerating the revolution of the offer in the world of savings and private banking. This is why we believe it is a priority to invest even more significantly in what makes the success of our private banking model unique and distinctive: the quality of our people. With this Training & Innovation Hub we wanted to create a place dedicated not only to skills training, but above all to sharing and comparing experiences with all those partners who enrich the tools and our offer to customers every day".

“As a private hub we are looking for e we develop innovation in the offer dedicated to asset protection, in financial planning as well as in wealth management, relying on collaboration with prestigious international partners and constantly evolving fintech platforms. We believe that innovation can spring from the experience of our bankers and from the best practices of start-ups and cutting-edge technological models, bringing added value to the relationship of trust: consultant-customer”, concluded the CEO of Banca Generali.
