Christie's presents the Working from Home online sale: Prints and Multiples (April 30-May 14). The catalog sees over 70 lots ranging from the 19th century to the present day and includes modern works by Henri Matisse, Edvard Munch and Pablo Picasso, as well as post-war and contemporary editions by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Damien Hirst.
This is a large selection of postwar and contemporary prints led by Andy Warhol's $(9) ($150.000-200.000), the complete set of two unique silkscreens, Roommates of Roy Lichtenstein, from the Nude series ($150.000-200.000) and works by David Hockney, including Amaryllis in Vase, by Moving Focus ($60.000-80.000), and Godetia ($8.000-12.000). Other contemporary highlights include a selection of Andy Warhol's Campbell Soup serigraphs (estimates ranging from $7.000 to 15.000).
In Also on sale are Joan Miró Prints from the Estate of Jacquelyn Miller Matisse, André Breton, Constellations, Pierre Matisse, New York, 1959 ($60.000-80.000) and Gravures for an Exhibition, Pierre Matisse, New York, 1973 ($20.000- 30.000), sold to benefit charitable causes. Additional modern highlights include a complete example of Marc Chagall's Four Tales from Arabian Nights ($80.000-120.000) and a selection of editions by Henri Matisse and Edvard Munch.
