Twist in the judicial investigation into theAgnelli legacy which opposes Margherita Agnelli, daughter of the Lawyer, to the three children John, Lapo and Ginevra Elkann. The Turin prosecutors yesterday ordered the seizure of 74,8 million euros from the three Elkann brothers, the Elkann's trusted accountant, Ferrero, and the Swiss notary Von Grunigen. The alleged crimes are: fraudulent declaration and fraud against the State.
It's all about the Swiss residence Marella Caracciolo Agnelli, Gianni Agnelli's wife and Margherita's mother, according to whom it was a fictitious operation to save on taxes.
Yesterday's operation was concluded by Guardia di Finanza who reconstructed the financial flows connected to the inheritance of Marella Agnelli and the disputes between Margherita and her children. The Elkanns' response was dry, declaring themselves innocent of the accusations.
