Acea joins the campaign "I illuminate myself less” promoted by the Caterpillar program on Rai Radio 2, on the occasion of its twentieth edition, with the aim of raising citizens' awareness on the issue of energy saving considering the key role of energy in countering the climate change. In the evening don Friday 16 February, from 19pm to 21pm, Acea will turn off the lights at its offices in Piazzale Ostiense and Viale dell'Aeronautica, thus joining the initiative. Reducing unnecessary consumption is a fundamental step in protecting the climate and adopting more sustainable behaviors in daily life.
Furthermore, on February 18th, on the occasion of the International Energy Saving Day established in 2005 with the entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol, the Roman multi-utility will replicate the action of turning off the lights at its offices. Furthermore, through its social channels, Acea will promote an awareness campaign on the importance of small virtuous gestures, such as the use of LED light bulbs and low consumption appliances, as well as the correct switching off of electrical appliances when they are not in use. These behaviors, in addition to contributing to the containment of energy costs, represent a concrete help in protecting the environment.
