That e Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a strategic collaboration aimed at innovation and at the development technological, with a focus on artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and sustainability.
This agreement, of duration of one year, defines numerous areas of cooperation between AWS, an Amazon company that offers the most complete and widely adopted cloud in the world, and the Roman multi-utility. The objective is to promote territorial growth through innovation and reduction of the carbon footprint, taking advantage of AWS's advanced technological solutions. The two organizations will examine the potential of services cloud of AWS to develop solutions that optimize operational and management processes, increasing efficiency and improving the quality of the services offered by the Roman multi-utility in all its areas of activity.
Smart solutions in the water and energy sector
In sector water, the partnership aims to develop smart solutions through prototypes and scalable models to prevent leaks and minimize the impact of wastewater. Thanks to data analysis and predictive maintenance, operational problems can be anticipated and resolved before they arise. In the energy sector, the adoption of AWS cloud services will be fundamental to strengthening the resilience of the electricity grid, supporting renewable energy, improving energy efficiency and creating a data hub for smart grids. Additionally, innovative solutions will be explored to enhance customer service, optimize data storage and processing, and reduce latency in digital services.
