Seventy years of Italian foreign policy, from 1944 to 2014, seen and lived in Palazzetto Venezia, the historic headquarters of Sioi (the non-profit organization that trains diplomats) which wanted to celebrate its seventieth birthday with an original photographic exhibition , inaugurated in recent days by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.
“It is within these walls and in these halls of Palazzetto Venezia – recalled the president of Sioi, Franco Frattini, in his welcome to the Head of State – that the destinies of Italy and those of important international initiatives”. Absolute protagonists of international politics have passed through the Palazzetto Venezia headquarters – from Kissinger to Mitterand and all the Italian heads of state and government – whom the photographic exhibition reviews and highlights.
The exhibition, made up of about forty panels and set up in the cloister of Palazzetto Venezia in Rome, will remain open until 10 December. Admission is free and is allowed from 10 to 17 from Monday to Friday.
