Six years ago Leopoldo Pirelli died, a very prominent figure of great depth in Italian capitalism with a taste for punctuality but also a gentle way of understanding social relations. For a good part of his activity he was at the head of the homonymous group, which was later taken over by his ex son-in-law Marco Tronchetti Provera. He was also very close to the lawyer Agnelli, who died in the same days four years earlier. His name is also linked to the reform of Confindustria.
