Dividends 2021: from Unicredit to Stellantis, the coupons of April 19th

The time has come for the first, big, big ones. On the Ftse Mib it officially opens the 2021 dividend season. In fact, the coupon was released on April 19 by six bigwigs from the main list of Piazza Affari: Banco Bpm, Campari, Cnh, Ferrari, Stellantis and Unicredit. To these will also be added the dividends of 4 listed companies between MidCap and MTA. Let's see them one by one.

DIVIDENDS 2021: THE RETURN OF THE BANKS

After suspension of payments imposed last year by the ECB in order to preserve liquidity and inject it into the real economy, in 2021 banks will return to disburse a part of their profits to shareholders. However, some stakes remained. According to the Eurotower "advice", credit institutions must limit the coupon to 15% of cumulative profits between 2019 and 2020 and, not in any case, the dividend must not exceed 20 basis points of Cet1 capital.

Among the big banks, the first to break the ice and return to detach the coupon are Bpm bank and Unicredit. On 19 April, the former issues a dividend of 0,06 cents per share for a total of 90,9 million euro. The yield, calculated on the closing price on 15 April, is equal to 2,58%.

Back to remunerating members too Unicredit. The shareholders' meeting of 15 April approved the disbursement of a total amount of just over 268 million. Translated: each shareholder receives a coupon of 12 cents per share which corresponds to a yield of 1,4%.

Both banks make the payment on Wednesday 21 April.

THE TITLES OF THE AGNELLI FAMILY

On Monday 19 April, the Agnelli family took the lion's share of the 2021 dividends, with CNH, Ferrari and Stellantis called to release the coupon.

Let's start with the last one. On March 15, the holders of ordinary shares stellantis received 0,017029 ordinary shares of Faurecia and 0,096677 euros for each ordinary share of Stellantis held. This time, however, the Italian-French giant takes the field with the ordinary dividend. The shareholders' meeting held on April 15th approved the distribution of an ordinary coupon of 1 billion euro already envisaged in the Amendment to the Combination Agreement of September 2020. For each single share, the detachment is equal to 32 cents (yield 2,13%). Payment is due on April 28.

To detach the coupon on April 19 there is also Cnh Industrial which remunerates members with 11 cents per share. The dividend yield calculated on the basis of the closing price on April 15th is 0,85%, while the coupon payment has been set for May 5th.

And finally Ferrari. The Prancing Horse has reserved for shareholders a portion of profits equal to 160 million euro against a consolidated net profit of 609 million. The detachment as of April 19 is equal to 0,867 euro per share (yield of 0,5%). Again, payment has been set for Wednesday 5 May.

CAMPARI

The last company of the Ftse Mib to detach the dividend on 19 April is Campari, which has established a coupon of 0,055 euro per share. The yield is at 0,56%. Payment: April 21st.
