10 Times Better, the startup-party in the elections

“In two weekends we collected 28 thousand signatures, even though no one thought it was possible.” Speak with pride Andrea Dusi, the entrepreneur from Verona who has launched in recent months 10 Times Better, the new party which, against all odds, succeeded where Emma Bonino's +Europe feared it would fail: collect the number of signatures imposed by the Rosatellum to participate in the elections of 4 March. "Now we pass the barrier and enter Parliament", continues Dusi, who presented the candidates on the list to the Chamber on Tuesday.

The mission is not the simplest, since the threshold to be reached is 3% and at the moment, surveys in hand, 10 Times Better doesn't go any further 0,3%. "Today we begin the shortest electoral campaign in the history of this country - says Stefano Benedikter, vice president of the party - We have three weeks to make ourselves known to all Italians. We'll make it".

Making up the ranks of 10 Times Better are professionals and entrepreneurs “who have chosen to put aside a successful career – underlines Dusi – to take care of the public interest”.

One of them is the 28-year-old Gian Luca Comandini, founder in 2013 of You&Web, one of the best-known digital marketing companies in Italy: “We don't want to be an alternative – he explains – We want to be the solution. Those who hope or vote for the least worst will never change anything. Those who have the skills and believe in it, on the other hand, can do it. That's why our program has a 10-year horizon."

The watchwords are innovation, technology and training. “65% of kids who go to school today will face a world of work that has nothing to do with what they study at school – adds Comandini – When we talk to kids about topics such as the blockchain, artificial intelligence and robotics , they ask us where they can study these things. At the moment, we have to answer them that they can't."
