10-point manifesto for the development of capital markets in Italy: the initiative of Borsa, Assonime and Equita Sim is excellent

Ten points to give Italy a financial market worthy of the name is the substance of the "Manifesto for the Development of Capital Markets in Italy” meritoriously promoted by the Italian Stock Exchange, from Assonymous and especially from Equita Sim. Ten points, all interesting, are too many to be summarized in a few lines but they can be found on the site www.manifestomercaticapitali.it where important adhesions have already arrived from the Milanese financial community, including those of Paolo Basilico, Marcello Bianchi, Filippo Annunziata, Stefano Caselli, Andrea Vismara and many others. In summary, there are three cornerstones of the Manifesto which aims to go well beyond the Capital Bill approved in Parliament and awaiting the new Consolidated Law on Finance promised by the Government: the insufficiency of Italian investors in SMEs, which are the backbone of our production system but which on the stock market they are short of breath, the reform of the investigation procedures and governance of the Supervisory Authorities, a rethinking of the tax system which, after the initial success of the PIR, has lost the path to incentivize risk capital. Excellent intentions, in the hope that the Government and Parliament will have ears to hear, but they immediately deserve applause.
